ASTER
The painting belongs to the “totemic” series of works, where “crystallism” as an artistic method gives way to the crystal as a central character - a totem endowed with its own energy and mythical content.
This series which currently includes three paintings - my creative appeal to Russian cosmism, pagan roots and the symbol in the personal universes that we create from birth; a symbol of connection of the earth and the sky, the eternal striving of one to reflect and comprehend the other.
"ASTER" is a guiding star, a sacred fire flower, a symbol of the soul movement in outer space.
The internal dynamics is hidden behind the external statics that resembles the possible structure of the seeking person: when the colossal work of the spirit takes place behind the familiar and unchangeable body shell, from the point of view of the physical boundaries.
