ONGOING
The Heroine and Muse of this painting "ONGOING" was a real girl named Sammy Jabrayil, who survived a terrible car accident in which she lost her leg.
Sammy went through a long period of rehabilitation and she was able to do something that some people can not do in less dramatic life twists - Sammy didn't just live through a total Eclipse, looked beyond the event horizon of an incomprehensible Black Hole... She learned to walk again and rose to a new level of life and consciousness!
The canvas captures the real Sammy, and the collective image of each rare being with superpowers - to ongoing, to continue, overcoming the darkness, to take a new step forward; to grow the spirit inside, like a tree, and direct its shoots to the Universe, from where we all come and where we will return in our hour.
