TIME COMES
"TIME COMES" - this artwork reflects an environmental problem, captures the moment and calls for closer attention. "The time is coming" for a revolution, the overthrow of the industrial power of man. Together, with Nature and Universe, it responds to the call of the planet - takes the magical shape of a human being and does its right thing, turning ugliness and danger into beauty and a new form of existence.
The painting is related to a very real place, a small port city Tuapse on the Black sea coast, where the artist was born and grew up. For many years, the ecology of the city and the health of its residents have been affected by the complex of industrial plants, that process dangerous chemical fertilizers and petroleum products. Citizens fought against their illegal construction and commissioning, but people were quickly intimidated and silenced. Despite everything, the factories continue to work. And to solve the problem with the law, Tuapse, a hero city of military glory, was stripped of this status, instead giving a new one - an urban-type settlement.
But we will believe that TIME will put everything in its place.
